What's In Your Christmas Wishlist?

16 December 2021

Do you hear that? The sound of Christmas bells ringing? The intoxicated conversations over the 5th dinner of the week? The Christmas jingles blasting on the streets? The muffled chatter of shoppers on the streets? The whisper of your eight-year-old daughter that she wants some candies?

Yes, it’s the Christmas season, our favourite time of the year. It’s the time that we get to spend with our family and friends, a time of giving and paying it forward, a time of spreading joy and love to whoever we come across with.

Like many others, my personal favourite month of the year is December. After the long year, I’m just so happy to be in the company of my loved ones sharing stories and gifts this giving season. I’m Secret Santa to someone in the family and I can’t wait to fulfill everything written in her (I’m assuming “her” because of the codename) wishlist!

Have you written yours and made sure it’s detailed to the core? Or did you give your Secret Santa a hard time? Personally, I think if you have something particular that you want, you should let your Santa know. You’ll both be happy at the party, for sure.

Here at FlexiSpot, we’re feeling the Christmas spirit so we asked some of our loyal patrons what they have on their FlexiSpot wishlist.

Freelance Copywriter

Ann Rivers, 29, Freelance Copywriter

I currently work for three advertising agencies so imagine how hectic my schedule is fulfilling copies for them. I can’t even begin to say how crazy the holiday season is! I work almost 10 to 12 hours a day so it’s very important for me to have an ergonomic workstation. I just never really had the time to shop for a quality standing desk but I’ve heard a lot of my friends rave about the wonders it did for their work efficiency as well as reducing neck and back pain. I would be so happy if I could get a Comhar All-in-One Standing Desk for Christmas. My friend gave me a link to it and I just love the wooden finish! My desk is also usually cluttered so having a pull-out drawer would help me be more organized.

I really like my job because it pays well but to be honest, it takes a toll on me physically. My eyes, back, and neck get strained from working eight to 10 hours in front of my two desks every day. I’ve been doing these for seven years already and I think it’s just about time that my workstation gets an upgrade. In my wishlist would probably be the Intelligent Monitor Arm with Docking Station so I could adjust my desk monitor at any time, if I want it closer or farther from me, below, within or above eye level, portrait or landscape, etc. I also want to be active so I’d love a Sit2Go 2-in-1 Fitness Chair because it has a mesh backrest that I could lean my back on and also pedal my feet while coding a project for my clients. Last is a Kana Pro bamboo Standing desk so that I could stand anytime while working and not suffer from prolonged hours of sitting.

Accountant

Monica Sanders, 30, Accountant

As an accountant, I deal with a lot of numbers every opening and closing of the month. I have to keep a lot of tabs on our employee list so I keep lots of electronic and printed records. Since working from home last year, I just repurposed my bedside table and a stool for my work. I’d really love it if my company could send me over an Esben Standing Desk from FlexiSpot. The compartments in the desk would help me organize my everyday items because trust me to lose everything during crunch time. My calculator’s always missing when the deadline is nearing! So I could also use a cabinet for all my ledgers and journals. I went through the FlexiSpot site and loved the Mobile File Cabinet 011. I like that it has three tiers and I could also put caster wheels under it which would make it easier for me to drag it to different parts of the room.
